JK, I don't own a Windows 98 PC.

My dad's laptop is way stufftier. I used to play blockland and it and got small lag with no bricks on the lowest settings.

Heh. I only still have this one because it's a secondary backup server sometimes.

Why can't someone design software that is able to 'shut off' parts of your hardware to simulate computing on a 750mHz processor on a 2gHz one? Is this impossible from a hardware-perspective?

Some lag, but not what you would expect. It ran decently.

edit: Not sure why I spent 10 minutes doing that, but I think I win.
what is that "ABORT SHUTDOWN" file

probably just a shortcut to the command " shutdown /a"

to abort the shutdown encase you clicked it by accident
