Author Topic: Environment water with waves.  (Read 1034 times)

Is it at all possible to add in waves for environments? Ever since the update it was no longer possible for waves.

I don't think this will be happening soon, Lord Tony. Sorry.

I think it was script physical water wave and vector number to create low and high waves. I look at the brick water and water falls. I am going try write the script and test on the water wave. I am sure that I will be fail write the script. I have to try it anyway.

The collision with waves were always annoying anyways.

and you can probably still do this with mission editor.

It seems like the fxPlane water does not have the properties needed to have waves (or the old water animation effect for that matter, which I really miss)

I've tried to spawn the old water objects in the mission editor, seems like they don't work anymore.

What about an animated textured block that emulates water?

We can't do infinitely large blocks.

I found way make the wave have three:
1.Direction-Direction waves flow toward shores.
2.Magnitude-Height of water undulation.
3.Speed-Speed of water undulation.
And I will add GUI to Environment with the scale bar.

Nope, the WaterBlock class was removed.

Sounds awesome.
