I found the wifi card and it doesn't look disconnected or anything
It could be broken though

device manager - uninstall network drivers
reboot and let it install it's generic drivers again

if it doesn't go online (find a way) and download drivers for your specific wifi card

^^

ethernet is always an option to download the specific drivers

so did it work or do we have to wait until next year to find out?

stuff sorry

My mom said she can try to fix it today but she said I need to back up files
Apparently they won't be 100% safe
But I don't have a big enough flash drive for all my files. You can't do a lot with a 2gb

you literally cannot damage any files by uninstalling a NIC driver.

Nonetheless if you must, Google Drive gives you 15GB of free server space and if you have a google/gmail account you already have a drive account.

you should use the flash drive for putting the new drivers so you can install them after you lose network connection.
