This is like the server favorites thing but to me it sounds a bit differ.
It would work like this- Next to filters there would be a button that says "Friends"
When you click on it a new GUI window would apear with 3 buttons on the side and explained in the photos attached (first , second and third photos) what it looks like. (PLEASE LOOK AT PHOTOS BEFORE READING MORE OR IT WONT MAKE SENSE)
IF a player is in the list then any servers on the server list that are that player's are highlighted (color of highlight in options). And if you hit a button called "Highlighted"
(explained in 4th photo is the button and the highlighted servers)
then all the servers that are highlighted go to the top of the list.
