Author Topic: Better fight physics  (Read 1002 times)

Okay, so, action melee raised the fight physics expectation pretty high. So did physics death, and first person view death. What I was thinking is what if we combined all of these into a mod and added some more melees to it? What would be nice is a kick melee, that move where you grab someone by the neck and push them against a wall, slapping, you know, all that candy. I would also like if we had some breathing noises like panting when you fight for a long time, and some realistic blood because, hey, nothing against anyone, but blood spraying like a shaken soda can isnt very realistic. Even more moved- pushing, body slams (this one is probably hard to do), and more. All we need is a decent scripted and we can make this happen!

This would be really cool, but really hard to make. I support this, but it isn't likely going to get made from a suggestions and requests topic unfortunately.

If i knew how to animate, I would so be doing this.

Action melee + blocko fist = Realistic melee attacks to the most important extreme to the MAX!

All we need is a decent scripted and we can make this happen!
The problem isn't scripting, it's animating

i agree, the way plastic bleeds should be more realis-oh


i can't stop laughing. a majority of this would look handicapped in game. panting noises, realistic blood, an "I'LL BREAK YOUR NECK!!" animation. i'm picturing it and it just looks so stupid. but a kick animation would be nice.


what if someone made a really ambitious wrestling mod
like you have to click three times to shoot for a double leg and the other person has to click and crouch to sprawl and then the fight goes there

fighting is so hard to translate into games

hahah, I thought it would be hilarious too, imagine a high pitched voice yelling "I'LL BREAK YA NECK!"
