Author Topic: Music over 30Seconds for Lan-Server...  (Read 2067 times)

Is there no way to ignore this Timelimit and Sizelimit by Music?

This does not belong in music.
Music is for finished downloads of songs for blockland.
This belongs in modification discussion iirc

It can go over 30 seconds. Wait what's LAN?

local server

Music can be as long as it wants as long as it's under 1 MB.

Take for example this loop that I have made: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/52243862/Memories.ogg

It's less than 1 MB, more than 30 seconds, and will download and work on any Blockland server who happens to activate it.

You're wrong.
Constantly there are music requests in here and such. What you're thinking about is Add-ons.

at first: thank you for so much answer. I never imagined that this question become only one post.

understand... it makes sense that the Tracks limited to drop the download for Online Server - SourceGame-Server are a good example... horribly join time...

But is there no way to deaktivate this limitation? Maybe with a Configuration on client properties of these Computers? Or is there an Addon?

The music boxes was so a good idea (especially the easy way to insert own tracks)
why must this limitation stop this great possibility...?

well, much text and surely a bad grammar... im German, and my english is poorly not so well. i hope you can connived.
I will enhance this in next time more - promised  :cookieMonster:

So, thank you very much.

The limit is hardcoded, you can't change it.

I have three song files that are over one mb, which one happens to be a default song, so i guess you can go over it. However, don't expect it to work all the time.

No, hes right. There is a Suggestions and Requests section for a reason. People who request here are breaking rules.

but those music requests are wrongly placed

The limit is probably 1,048,576 bytes instead of 1,000,000 bytes then - or something similar.
