Author Topic: I can't join my own dedicated server but other people can  (Read 414 times)

The title pretty much explains it all. Now, it's kind of weird;
The ping is not ---, it's usually 1-20. I can join the server, but it's forever stuck on "CONNECTION ACCEPTED"
Connecting via Steam and regular .exe both result unsuccessful.

The port I use is custom-set to 30000, because that's what I use for my port on my router. (It's a NETGEAR WNDR3400v2)

This is what happens in the server console when I join:

It just keeps spamming that until I disconnect.
Please help.

Can't you set your port to the default? (28000)

Anyway, maybe try to use 'connect to IP' and enter 127.0.0.1 or 127.0.0.1:30000 or 127.0.0.1:52527
Otherwise it may have something to do with your firewall, so try to disable that.

I also notice that the port it tries to punch is 52527, not 30000

Connecting through IP 127.0.0.1:30000 worked! Thanks!
