ok so i just had a massively traumatizing experience and i feel the need to report it.
me and a few other people of a dayz clan were in berezino on apartments, just casually surveying, when we saw a bambi sprinting just at us and going serpentine. we took the opportunity for some target practice, but all the while another with a hatchet was coming up behind on ladders and managed to take out two geared guys with melee. we downed him, but then immediately after, someone ELSE got shot by a new sniper from the deer stand to the north forest (forest of death).
we had to concentrate on taking him out, but all the while, another two geared guys were advancing from the south with sks's and managed to kill two more people. we finally took out both the sniper and the two guys, and i got in a really short lived but harrowing gunfight where i shot a guy in the face with my sks on the staircases, even after he put two magnum rounds in me.
we ended up taking back the loot we lost + the loot they had, and quit while we were ahead. phew. first big encounter and we managed to win it.
