Author Topic: Twin Flight-stick capable games?  (Read 1125 times)

So, I saw this video, and thought "hey, that looks pretty fun". Fast forward a few weeks, I find a new flight stick at a thrift store for 8$. Same model as my current one, but is new in box. Being that my old one was not in good condition (rusty spring, sticky throttle, missing 2 buttons), I was going to buy a new one anyways. I then remember this video, and then i remember I have 2 flight sticks now.

Are there any games that can utilize twin flight sticks? My flight sticks are Saitek St290 Pro's.

MechWarrior. Really, anything with tank-style controls.

I'd also recommend Virtual-On, but that's a lot more "specialized" and the two games in that series that people play the most are on the 360 so they need modded controllers.

For planes/tanks;War Thunder, especially on historical/full realism. If you're into helicopters there's Take On Helicopters. ARMA can be fun with joysticks, especially on jets/helis, but I've heard some guys even use them for ground vehicles.

There's another game lingering in the back of my mind but I can't think of it. I'll edit it in when I remember what it is.

Hm, never realized War Thunder could use 2 joysticks. I already do single-stick, but could you tell me what the second one does in the game?

I'd assume one is your standard pitch/yaw and the other is throttle/rudder

idk why you'd use two sticks for a flight game. i'm pretty sure all the aircraft use one stick. you'd use a HOTAS, not two sticks.
