Author Topic: My Blockland is riddled with bugs.  (Read 1171 times)

For one thing, when I die in any way in my server, I get a console error something like this:
Code: [Select]
Survaillance: unknown function ondeath(); This is not exact, BTW.
And my cursor in-game goes funky, leaving trails, and I freeze, forcing me to disconnect.
And I get horrible lag from very small amounts of bricks that wouldn't have caused any lag at all normally.
I have too many addons to think of all of them off the top of my head.
The addons I downloaded before the death bug was the Surveillance addon.
If I reinstall Blockland, would I be able to use my current key? I don't want to have to spend $20 again.

You can use your current key if you re-install.

But it would be a good idea to contact the creator of the surveillance mod and help them fix whatever is messing with you.  The curser messing up and things going freaky has happened to be before *riding a super stretched horse-player*

Try disabling all of your add-ons but the surveillance mod and re-enable them one by one, there may be some kind of weird incompatibility in all of your add-ons being tangled together, you may, in fact, have too many.  There IS a datablock limit, so if your using a lot of add-ons, things may not be loading.

I know about the datablock limit, I disabled most of my addons, and the surveillance addon, but I still get the error. :\

I got it too.
Just disable it.

P.S. Your key can always be used, unless Badspot disables it for some reason.

If you reinstall Blockland, simply re-enter the key when it prompts you upon starting up your reinstalled Blockland.

Just reinstall and don't get any stuff mods.

Let me just clarify what's happened to you so far:

You've purchased a game made by a professional programmer that has been tested and works fine for thousands of people.  You have then taken that game and added to it code written by an anonymous 12 year old from the internet.  The game no longer works.

At this point I would suggest that you start over (delete your c:\program files\Blockland folder), re-install the game, and this time try to avoid throwing in any code written by elementary school children.
