i'll be going on vacation in like a week and i dont want to stay up until 6AM every day while i'm there
i can't stay up for 24 hours because i don't like coffee and don't have energy drinks
how do i fix this horrible sleep schedule of mine

set an alarm for whenever you wanna get up, and go to sleep at 10:00pm

maybe try going to sleep just a couple hours earlier than usual, then the next night, an hour before that, then the next, and so on? idk for sure if it'll work but

I had some guests over and ended up going to sleep 4, 5 hours earlier than usual but waking up at the same times (6am and 11am). I sleep better on vacation.

I tried staying up 24 hours, only worked once, and i forgeted it up the next day. also messed it up a different time and ended up sleeping at 4 pm and waking at 1 am. was forgeted like that for a while.

The trick is just go to sleep normally, even if its late then waking up early and forcing yourself awake for the rest of the day. you'll be tired at the end of the day and will be able to sleep at whatever time you want.

do this every single night. your body will eventually push itself back and you won't have to do any crazy bullstuff about pushing your circadian rhythm forward.

you can adjust your sleep scheduled by going to bed at the desired time every night. You will probably experience sleeplessness, boredom, and discomfort, but after a while your biological clock will reassert itself. A more extreme approach would probably be to stay awake all night and go to sleep at the desired time the next day, but I can't really vouch for it's effectiveness as I've never actually attempted it.

Hey, this is what I'm doing. Except I like coffee and can stay up, so...

use that part of your grey matter you dont always use and use your internal powers to stay awake
splash cold water on your face to get a little boost

take some sleeping pills
