Avatar system is borked.

To change your colorset manually, open the zip file of the colorset and copy the colorset.txt file out of it. Then paste that file into the Blockland/config/server folder, where there should already be the default one. Replace it, and your colorset is now changed to the one you pasted in. Do this while the game is not running.

I believe there's actually a 'colorset' tab when you try to start a new game that you can select colorsets in.

This was a feature of the RTB system, which is now deprecated. Follow my instructions above.

The new trueno's colorset is usually pretty good, I see it on a lot of servers.

The colorsets tab to which people are referring is not part of RTB.
In the add-on selection screen of the Custom gamemode, there is a tab to the left that has Add-Ons, Colorset, and I think Music.
