Author Topic: Long vacation starting Friday [Roadtrip yay]  (Read 650 times)

On Friday morning, hopefully very early (dawn or before), my family and I will be leaving on vacation out of state. We're first stopping in Illinois (grandparents in Champaign) for a night and then we're going up to Michigan. After unsuccessfully booking a cabin, it looks like we'll be camping and staying in hotels up along the west and northwest coast.  So I'll probably be swimming in Lake Michigan in a couple days.  Might go to the Cherry Festival in Traverse City, which is near our frequent vacation spot of Petoskey.

I'll be staying all the way up to July 13 or 14. Anyone else vacation-ing?

i'm taking a 12 hour road trip up to wisconsin tomorrow. we're staying with my grandma, who lives across the street from lake winnebago

I'm staying in my house this entire vacation ;__;

In July, I'm having a daytrip to Chicago with my grandpa, uncle, and cousin. Then we're having a week-plus long vacation to Carbondale, IL.  Normally, we either don't go on long vacations in the summer or we don't go on any at all, so this is new.

Will you be drinking champagne in Champaign?

When you're graduated and unemployed every day is part of a long vacation! Oh god I need structure ;-;

I'm already unemployed but I think I'd rather have a job than not.

I get on a flight to Las Vegas at 6 AM on Friday.

Yay.

on saturday i'm going on a cruise on Royal Carribean :)

leaving for port canaveral on friday

I'm going to my grandmother's summer house in the Adirondacks, like I do every year. It's only a two hour drive and we stay there for a day or two. It's not very exciting since the town only has 700 people, and there isn't any tourist attractions, or much of anything really.
