I guess go back to town, store your stuff in your safe house, and buy some fuel.

The three of you decide on heading back to Avery. While you're heading back to the BTR, your dosimeter goes off. It seems the wrecked Ural is radioactive, or was carrying something radioactive. The dosimeter indicates you can only withstand this level safely for another half hour. You could possibly investigate whatever that Ural was hauling, or what the convoy crewmen through over the side of the highway.

Just quickly investigate it and get out of there in 20 minutes just to make sure.

You take a Geiger counter out of the BTR, and suit up, zipping up the CBNR suit and pressing the gas mask against your face. You walk up to the Ural. It's back in slightly radioactive. You search the corners with the scope, and find that two are more radioactive than others.

It seems there is leakage of some metalic pellet across the ground they are highly radioactive. The Geiger spikes, as does the dosimeter. Your shocked at this and back away from the pile quickly.

You head for the apartment building and jump the to roof. The Carl Gustav is still in the hands of the mutilated man. It smells fowl, and the sight is disgusting. The door downstairs is unlocked, you traverse without incident. At ground level, there is a case. Inside is a barrel. It is yellow with an ominous black trefoil on it.

HIGHLY DANGEROUS, RADIOACTIVE WASTE is written across the barrel, in approximately 5 other languages as well as English.

The container is highly radioactive, not to mention leaking its contents. The dosimeter begins chirping and reports you can only take another 3 or so minutes before being hitting the safe dosage limit.
