Author Topic: carolcat has gotten an mri now (hi blogland what up) (RESULTS: i have tumor)  (Read 9407 times)

Did you ever see that thing where the senate straight stuff on him for lying on TV? They were straight up like "why the forget would you even do that? What an starfish move." and his defense was "my show is for entertainment value and the advice should be taken as such."

Found the quote.

"I don't get why you need to say this stuff when you know it's not true. When you have this amazing megaphone, why would you cheapen your show? ... With power comes a great deal of responsibility."

I never really had any idea that anything was wrong with dr oz until a few years ago, I thought he was just another doctor talk show like a lot out there
I knew something was up when i saw my mom and grandma eating chips and saying it was dr oz's advice

My mom's bf records and watches every episode of his show
He and my mom both want to lose weight and have tried everything to do so
And of course by "everything" i mean "everything except for eating healthy and not shoving an endless supply of chips and sugary drinks down their throats"
I knew from the first day they starting trying to lose weight that it wouldn't work, because all they did was go to the store and come back with coffee pills and fried chicken

Wait, removing a tumor will get you behind in school?
Would you rather be alive or be smart knowing you could die soon?

Why does everyone think a tumor instantly kills you

Why does everyone think a tumor instantly kills you
Not all tumors even slowly kill you
Not all tumors are cancer

The tumor, from what I've read, is benign, and non-threatening. Surgery is not only inconvenient, but also painful, expensive and time-consuming.

Although I'm sure the doctors would be more than willing to take Carol's money I don't see why it would be necessary.

just scavenge some new parts from nasa, sheesh

robots nowadays

Why does everyone think a tumor instantly kills you
I'm implying that carolcat will die after some period of time, not instantly. Why does everyone immediately assume something is one thing without asking for a more detailed explanation

just like everyone else? terrifying!

being stuck in a hospital for a few days will put me behind in my classwork. yes, i'll be sent the missed work, but i won't be taught the material that's on the work and i'd only have 2 days after returning to school to try to teach myself the concepts. so yes, if i did have to get surgery to remove the tumor, i would be behind in school and my grades would suffer.

but the tumor is benign right now, as far as we know.
