Installing Blockland Server on Elementary OS through WINE?

my experience is that blockland servers are a bit tricky to get working under linux for extended periods of time but maybe you'll have more luck

how are you currently trying to start the server

how are you currently trying to start the server

i have a run.bat with the following:
start BlocklandLauncher.exe -profilePath . -dedicated

its basically the runme.bat but with the -dedicated at the end like aoki said, i'll run it with wine, then it will just say in a window "enviroment variable not found"

i've always just run the game executable directly
do you already have the game files downloaded?

if so, try running like this script does (you probably don't need all the extra stuff since you're probably running it on a local machine with proper display drivers/not running a server OS but who knows i'm not an expert lol)

wineconsole --backend=curses ./Blockland.exe ptlaaxobimwroe -dedicated -gamemode Custom

either run that line every time or put it in a .sh file and make it executable (sudo chmod +x file)
