can anyone help?

the computer is old and i dont want to install windows.

You obviously have little/no debugging knowledge and therefore have no excuse to not being using the most user-friendly version of Linux possible.

Just get Ubuntu, at the very least you'll have to ask questions less often.

Most other distributions of Linux run faster than Ubuntu because they don't have all the user-friendly helper stuff. You have to sacrifice one for the other. Do you want to play Blockland/do other things without having to ask for help all the time?

This is the Blockland forums.

Not the Elementary OS forums.

My issue is related to running a Blockland Server through Wine.
This fits perfectly here.
Nobody on some linux forum is going to know what the forget Blockland is.

Blockland doesn't support Linux. This argument is invalid.

Just use an OS that we've established it works on. The two I know it works for is Ubuntu and Debian. I'm pretty sure nobody here has the time to try and figure out exactly why it doesn't work on this particular distro.

This. Also even if the issue is fit for this forum, then this is the wrong board.

[co de]sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get install wine[/ code]

run the blockland installer through wine
open it, put in your key?

wait he meant server forget

I got it working with Mint by adding "-dedicated" to the runMe.bat that comes with blockland portable, then running the runMe.bat with Wine Windows Program Loader.

If he's using Linux at all, he's probably not looking for something user-friendly.
