that's not a hover board. that's a magnet board and it SUCKS
yeah but what defines a hover board? i mean, it is hovering over the ground via a magnetic field? therefore it is still a hovering board.

so the point of it is looking cool

do you deny that an extra inch of hover would not make it look way cooler
implying that making it hover more would make it no longer function as a skateboard?

I imagine that if teleportation was discovered, that was found using small particles and a controlled environment, you'd be all "Gee why the forget can't we teleport humans, cmon scientists you lazy forgets."

the thing they did in jurassic park by extracting the dna from blood found in mosquitoes trapped in amber wouldn't work as dna has a half life of 521 years
I cri

im calling you out on being a tool for aesthetics and ignoring the tech involved.

-1 more for you for being dumb
I can't tell if this is sarcastic or not

Well we now have this and we've already got the self tying shoes coming out next year. All we need is the flying cars...

There's a difference. Teleportation would be a huge discovery in physics, with new technology and science, and actually serves a purpose. Hoverboards are novelties using the existing technology of magnets and/or fans.

lol

It isn't really super science because you need a special magnetic surface that would probably kill/injure someone with any metal implants/braces.

Oh gee, being able to lift stuff off of the ground using magnetic forces and transport it easily is really, really novel. We can't use that for industrial purposes!

Do you think Tony Hawk ever realized that he'd one day be able to ride a hoverboard.

tha future is now

No the future is tomorrow

No the future is tomorrow
Nah, it's prolly next week, give or take a few days.

the future never comes, since it's always the present.
