Before you throw your shoes at me i spent less then 10 minutes whipping this idea up, This style always looked nicer to me because if you put the level and what not in the box up there you arnt looking all over your screen.

It didn't work so well when I was playing anyways, here is more progress. (I made the vignette no longer multiply, if there is any better background, please show a background here that players can recolor)


(The little guy is also me (obviosuly) (this was to test to see if this group clan stuff would work with other people (it would since I made myself a seperate client), but his background will also be fixed too, I just forgot.) This updates when the player's health/mana/level/avatar updates. The big one updates when the player's health/mana/level/exp/avatar updates.

Edit: Here is the current gui, everything works as imagined other than the avatars.
