Can you stack these new tracked photos for more stuff in a shot?

What's that cyan ball of gas in your last photograph?

this is some of the coolest stuff ive seen here
totally amazing man keep it up

What's that cyan ball of gas in your last photograph?
thats a comet i believe
you can see the trail faintly to the left of it

This is sensual

I have a celestion 11 inch tele but don't know how to approach astrophotography, besides I'm far too lazy lol

Thanks, guys. And yeah, that was a comet.

bµbbler, what kind? SCT? And yeah. It's a lot of time and work.

I tried re-editing my last photo of the Orion and Running Man nebulae. This image is still a single exposure so it lacks the flexibility of a stacked series of images, but I did manage to bring out more of the nebulosity detail than I ever have. However, it did introduce a lot more noise. Shooting multiple frames would smooth this out more. I'll definitely dedicate an entire night of shooting to this nebula the next time conditions allow. The image on the bottom right is the first image I ever took of this using my D600 and the nikkor 70-300mm lens.

D600
Imaging - Orion 8" f/3.9 Astrograph
Guiding - Orion ST-80 guidescope with Orion SSAG Autoguider
Celestron CGEM tracking mount
ISO 800
200 second exposure
Stretched in Photoshop

Also...

This was a small stack of light, dark, and bias frames I took last night. The editing was done while I was fighting sleep, so I need to look into redoing it soon. I may try a different program as well to preserve more of the color. Anyway...

8x200 seconds for light frames (total exposure of 26.6 minutes)
5x200 seconds for dark frames
20x1/4000 second for bias frames.
Stacked in Deepskystacker and tweaked in Lightroom. I'll try Nebulosity next time.

Those nebula photos are colorized, yes?

Sandwich, no. That's the color I captured.

I bought a piece of software called Nebulosity to upgrade from Deepskystacker. It's a lot more complicated and time consuming, but I definitely like the results much better. Obviously the new shot is on the right. I think I'll try again tomorrow to see if I can stretch it any further. Also, I'll repost the information of how I shot this if you're interested.
