Author Topic: Huge water main break where I live  (Read 1215 times)

Boy am i glad my house has its own well. Only disadvantage to that is if my power goes out the waters not gonna work.

This. If storms are coming, I try to shower and stuff before they arrive.

Psssh I have my own watercooler so I'll have water available even if this happens.

It's 999 times better than the water you have.
We have a systern, it hasn't been cleaned so the water isn't drinkable at all. On the bright side the water main is irrelevant.

Setro, you'll be fine. The city that pumps water into my town somehow breaks their main basically every year; in turn businesses get closed and no one can use water fountains. Give it a few days, you'll survive.

Take a shower anyway

i did take a shower lol

we had a similar thing with lake erie last summer. you couldn't drink or touch the water, filters wouldn't do anything. it was fine after 2 days.

a bunch of locally made ice cream products have been pulled from stores because they contained poorly filtered sewage water that caused illness. gotta love hometown-made goods.

try putting bleach in the water and drink it, it'll help.

already did

Yonkers could probably benefit from a sewage bath.
