What's wrong with the power supply? And a fan cooling system seems fine to me.

Bull loving stuff. None of those builds are going to pull more than 400 watts at full load and less than 300 when gaming and there's no need to upgrade from the stock Intel cooler unless you're doing overclocking.

how would this run blockland and warframe

a developer of ARK: Survival Evolved said this about it:

(Which I assume means it will run at max/high settings)

Your budget will not allow for a 970
You need a 1k comp to be at that tier

I just made these up, but i would say...

<$600 stuff comp, do not even game
$600 low end gaming
$1000 good gaming, it's better then console trash.
$1500 high end gaming
$2000+ extreme

And all parts fall into those tiers. But it's a bad idea to mix and match em. If you budget for a certain level of computer, you should only use parts that are meant for it. Not grab like a high end video card to run over a low end cpu

so the 970 is too much for the rest of the build?

what would you recommend

here's the minimum reqs for ARK

(I am blockomaniac, obviously)
Does this person know what they are talking about? I trust you guys more than some random steam poster for better or worse :^)

this guy just got exposed as not knowing what hes talking about in one of his own threads

thanks forums B)

"DirectX11 Compatible GPU with 1 GB Video RAM"

that 960 4g in my build there far exceeds that

its been proven that a menial i3 3.1ghz, 6gigs of ram, and a 750ti;
can play the new pc gta5 at ultra settings in 900p at a range of 30-60fps.

so the next gen version of that would be our 960;4g here. a much better upgrade to it.

it should do most games at 1080 max settings without issue.

but the next upgrade to a 970 is +150 dollar difference. not good for your budget since you dont wanna downgrade the other parts if you can help it.
