Author Topic: A way to bump my dead server off the list  (Read 582 times)

So whenever I host a dedicated server and then close it using either the X on the top right or quit(); , even though the server isn't there, it still lingers in the Blockland server list. Is there a way to bump it off when it is not even there? I know this doesn't happen when I close my server for a server hosted by my client.

The way posting to the master server works is that your server sends relevant data to the server (IP, name, port, etc.) then the client gets the data and tries to connect, if connecting fails then the ping is marked -- on client-side. Master server just marks it off the list when it hasn't heard from it for a while.

There really is no solution other than wait for the master server to drop it.

a server hosted by my client.
Just an FYI, the term for this is "listen server"
