The reason these are a rip off is because they're overpriced as forget. Hell I might go as far to say some of the games on the Virtual Console are overpriced too. Not every VC game, but NES games shouldn't be loving $5 on VC. The prices based for the gamestop retro games seem to be based on the average price the games are sold on the internet. Still doesn't mean you defnitely can't find much better prices for the games offered, not to mention also completed and in better condition.

the ONLY reason i can see buying a console and games from them is if you don't have enough money for something like a ps3, xb0x 360, wii or any of the next-gen consoles
really the only one worth buying is a ps2 because it has so many games for cheap prices

also dreamcast vmu's are $8 and I've seen them as low as $3, aka this is a huge ripoff to make a quick buck off of old consoles, stick to ebay or a local store if you have one.

I really don't like gamestop either, their whole scheme with powerup cards and trading in really makes the company not worth going to for games, I'd seriously stick with a local game store if you really want to buy locally or trade in. Selling is still a lot better imho because you'd make a lot more of a profit off of it, gamestop also has their own stuffty DRM which is horrible.
