Author Topic: Today was my last day at my architecture internship. :(  (Read 1151 times)

Well, today was my last day at my summer job/internship. In case you didn't know (I mentioned it multiple times, but never made a topic about it), I got an internship at an architecture firm- or rather, several. It was  around 12-14 different people all related to construction, architecture, and design.

Seeing as I plan to be an architect, this was a wonderful opportunity. Got valuable experience and I got to make some money. I got to do some renovation and extension designing, attend ARB (architectural review board) meetings, visit job sights (including a 5 million dollar home that is under construction), and ride in my boss's V12 Jaguar E-Type.

Well, this marks the end of my summer. I start school on Monday. What did you guys do this summer? Anyone have any interesting jobs/stories?

I have a job
some people would probably call it an internship. my bosses do, at least
and it's supposedly temporary, but some part of me believes that was only said so that he would have a good excuse to get rid of me had I turned out to be less than great at it

all that I do is enter things into an excel spreadsheet
for four hours straight, every weekday

was anyone planning on buying it once it was built, or was it just going to be put up for sale?
