Sorry that was more aimed at JBlitz. I was basically saying that armor you wear (starting tomorrow actually) will no longer determine your level, as it had since launch. You had to find the high tier gear (usually raid armor) in order to reach max rank. It will now use experience gained through playing the game instead. So you can reach max level by playing story missions, turning in bounties, etc. Basically, the gear-based level system was one of the most criticized parts of the game (for the grind), and they're removing it with the patch tomorrow. Among other things, but this is a big overhaul (and what JBlitz was commenting on).
Are you serious? No more light level as of tomorrow? If so WOO

The TTK patch (aka Patch 2.0.0, which is 18 GB) will make your gear still have light level, but it now determines your attack and defense, based on an average of all your gear equipped.

Also Dinklebot will now be The Northern Light (Nolan North revoiced the entirety of Destiny for your Ghost, as well as the new voice work for TTK story stuff).

Honestly there is SO MUCH in this patch it would be worth reading about it online. We'll also get a full patch list tomorrow when it drops around 10 am - 12 pm PST.
