Author Topic: Can uTorrent forget up your browser?  (Read 2000 times)

Serious question: Have you tried restarting your computer to make sure that it's not just some run-away Chrome process that's preventing you from opening it?

The "No Piracy" rule on the Games board says otherwise though.
Not sure how far that rule bleeds.
The rules are:
Do not talk about pirating software
Do not give links to software pirating sites
Do not give instructions on how to pirate software
Do not talk about how you just pirated software
The only one I can see being confused for "torrenting software" is if you confuse the meaning to be "Do not talk about software used to pirate" instead of the intended meaning of "Do not talk about the act of software pirating"

I was mostly referring to the second line.
But if your sure then I don't don't mind.

Torrents are not inherently illegal. Torrenting is just a process where you download files faster by downloading smaller pieces from multiple different peers. Plenty of files on torrenting websites are public domain/not copyrighted.

Its called muTorrent not uTorrent

Its called muTorrent not uTorrent
these kinds of misconceptions come with the territory when you market your product to people who do not write in the greek alphabet.

um actually its microTorrent nerd
This is the correct answer. The creator named it so because the program was originally small, or MICRO. You never had to install uTorrent in earlier versions, just run it and go.
