Author Topic: How to convert my music into .ogg?  (Read 1133 times)

I've got a little problem how to add my music in the server. It will be a pleasure if you help me. For example I want add
'Star Wars EP1-Duel Of the Fates', but it's a .mp3, how do I convert it?

Heres a tip
You cant use spaces in Music file names
"Star Wars EP1-Dual Of the Fates" has to have the spaces replaced with underscores like this: "Star_Wars_EP1-Duel_Of_The_Fates"
To get it as a mp3, try exporting it as an OGG Vorbis file using Audacity

Use Audacity, cause it is free.
It is as easy as loading in the file and going: file > export > .ogg

Also make sure the file isn't bigger than 1MB (1024KB)

make sure the file is mono too.

also a tip: if you are having trouble getting it under 1mb:
1. change the 32 float to a 16 PCM
2. in the export options, set .ogg export quality (or whatever it is) to zero. (i keep it at 1 just for good measure) it changes seriously nothing notable and you'll get a smaller file size.

Music in blockland has to be a loop thats only about 45 seconds long.

You could probably get someone to make the loop for you.

If you downsample it enough, it can be easily be 1.5 minutes, maybe even 2.

But then it'll be in an awful quality.

You can use a music file to ogg website I used it to make some songs
