Server not showing up on server list?

This is the first time this has happened to me. Whenever I start a server, my friend says it simply isn't on the server list. I have the OS X version of the game btw

Has your friend maybe applied some filter on the masterlist?
I don't know if it is default or an addon, but I can filter out passworded/empty/full/dedicated/high ping servers from the list.

no, i told him how to join since he just got the game yesterday

You sure you started an internet server and not a lan or singleplayer server right?
And your internet is working?

Can you maybe start your server and then upload your console.log from your blockland folder?

Open the console (press ~) and type webcom_postserver(); then press enter. You should see "Posting to Master Server" appear in the console. If it still doesn't appear after that (make sure your friend refreshes his server list), close Blockland and upload your console.log so we can look at it.
