Author Topic: Walking Dead: FEAR THE WALKING DEAD IS COMING  (Read 4111 times)

the cliffhanger ruined any chance for suspense, shock factor, etc.

Me and my family usually watch Talking Dead right after. Scott said that the reason for cutting the episode before knowing who it was, was to show that Neegan's killing of someone was the end of the story so far; closing a chapter. Finding out who it is and where everyone goes from there, how everyone's lives will change for seasons because of this, is the beginning of a new story.

Also anyone have trouble maintaining a suspension of disbelief when Negan's group just happened to be in that part of woods after the RV drove miles from the last roadblock? That was brutal, Rick's group never caught a break.

Lmao so true, like it just felt so unfair that they happen to go to THAT specific part of the woods, like I get it the saviors were already luring them into a trap to begin with, but that last part felt to unfair that they ran into the entire saviors group. But then again its a show lol so we gotta expect these things, just like how there's no real explanation for where all branches of the military went lol

Haha I know right. It's like, how are ragtag survivors lasting longer in a full scale apocalypse compared to entire state sized militaries when the infection was manageable.
Not to mention the zombies have no energy source and they'd be immobilized from rot by now.
But I guess with TWD you have to suspend that disbelief to enjoy the show.

Also with all that buildup last episode and no payoff, they should just kill off rick and rename the show The Walking Negan. No need for two leaders.

I mean it's like that with nearly every show, there's just no explanation for things that should have them, but with walking dead you expect it to have the explanation, seeing as it has a reputation for doing good things that everyone else didn't

Cool this thread is still alive, seeing how the thread is in Off-Topic I thought it would be on the 3rd page by now
Is anyone else waiting for Fear the Walking Dead to premiere, I got a few ideas on who will die

Yeah i'm gonna watch it but really only as a filler for the walking dead lol, well that's not completely true cause I do actually enjoy it.

I've tried watching ftwd but I just can't get fully interested.

Yes that's what a lot of my reality friends have said.
The first season was slow because they were acting like everyone else, they were scared, trying to survive, etc.

In the second season we're going to be seeing them on boats, doing random stuff.
Trust me it's going to be a lot less boring soon

tbh based on the sneak peek in the last talking dead, it's either gonna be really really good or really really bad, the first season was good tho so I'm gonna be expecting good

I'm pretty sure that Abraham is the one that's dead. Throughout the entire season, he gets re-characterized as this sort of hubris-stricken starfish that's just invincible to everything. I'm pretty sure it's build-up to his death.

I hope so. I would only be disappointed if they killed off any of the original characters.

Also I won't be watching any of fear the walking dead since the force fed, nonsensical drama in TWD is already hard enough hard enough to tolerate.
From what I've heard the spin off show has even more drama.

However, given that the TWD showrunner & comic author already said they will never explain the virus origin,
I will watch FTW if they ever explain it on that show.

It was really disappointing when Eugene's explanation turned out to be BS.

That was great lol, although I'm really wondering about that jack kid who was on the radio
