you couldn't even be bothered to read the op?
there's better cards than the 970 that he could buy instead of a console anyways, or
just save your money for something else
because consoles aren't worth the money for stuffty excuses of games and supporting the people holding games back

save your money and either get a gaming computer or upgrade your parts if you already have one, don't buy into the console meme
i already built a gaming computer, and an upgrade to my parts would probably be me purchasing a second GTX 970 and that's it really

You keep the games after your subscription ends.
for what, PS4, Xbox, or both?

crap(ps4), crap(XBone), or extremely good(HTC viv)
so ill go for the latter
lol, the vive was actually my first choice but i don't know if i'm too certain i want to get into VR so early on. i still totally would because the vive looks rad as forget

Build an machine running Lakka and get like 4 xbox controllers.

great fun for the whole family.
i might actually do this as a gift for my dad, he loves retro games

for what, PS4, Xbox, or both?
For the Xbox, at least. Don't know about PS4, but I'd be surprised if you didn't keep them.

If you have friends with Xbox One, that's always a bonus.
I think Xbox One's are also going cheap at the moment in different packages too.

Also, backwards compatability with an ever-expanding catalogue of 360 games.
And, if you get Xbox Live, you get 4 free games every month, and special deals on games.

The online service is always pretty good too.
And Xbox have never lost all their customers details before.
Speaking of free games, I have a deal that'll let me get The Wolf Among Us for free, should I grab it?

OT: I think you can buy both with $2k, because I got my Xbox One for around less than $250, but then again, that was at a Wal-Mart down here in the USA in Texas, so.. might vary in other places. Xbox One is pretty good though.

Personally if you can wait, see what the new models will be

If not, go with the one with the most friends

I only bought a Xbone because all of my friends were getting it or had it and I had a 360 so the games and my account transfered

xbox one and ps4 are p much the same thing. i have a ps4 because i've owned playstations since the ps1.

ps4.5 is prob worth waiting for if you arnt so desperate RIGHT now.

i don't know why people would want the ps4.5. it's just a marketing ploy for sony to sell their 4k tvs. they'll probably downscale the games so much that the 4k isn't even worth it.

get the playstation so you can play with your close bud and your little bro

wait for the eventual next wave of consoles (nx, 2160p upgrades) and see what they have to offer

i'd say get the console your friends have

If you're talking about Games For Gold, then Wolf Among Us is one of last months games and is about to change in the next day or two.
If you have Gold already just redeem the game. You don't have to install it straight away and it can sit in your library for whenever it strikes you. Really, you should do this with all games even if they don't interest you.

Wolf Among Us is pretty good though. It's captivating and compelling.

You need 800$ and a supercomputer for the HTC Vive.

All of them are stuffty and anyone who plays a video game is a loving nerd
