if they're cardboard with tape you can peel off the tape
if they have a lock you can open it if you have a crowbar

You can buy a crowbar for 30 Mark at an Outershop in town,  if they have one in stock.

Considerably big update that fixes something a lot of people have been annoyed at.
If you save at a hotel now, you'll start at that specific hotel whenever you continue the game. Previously, you'd have to restart the entire journey if you quit the game, but your car and cash would be how it was when you 'saved'.

Protip: you can find crowbars sometimes in the city store, and you don't have to buy it either, just bring your boxes in the store, drop them, and "borrow the crowbar" by breaking the boxes and placing it back to where it were.

This game is so cool but it's such a shame that it's so glitchy. Hitting the E brake stops the car INSTANTLY, which can be abused, and I do. You have to pull stuff out of the trunk to fit things where there's already space available, and to top it off the cash register glitches every time I sell stuff and lets me pull out as much money as I want. Unfortunately I can't do anything with it because the catalog in the car shop is glitched and I can't buy anything.
also my hand gets sore from using my mouse to precisely click all the buttons in the car.
