$15 a month or according to EVE-Central roughly 915 million ISK for a PLEX in Jita

it's not much for someone who has a foothold and billions of ISK

to kind of put it in perspective, i've made a quarter of a billion ISK in exploration runs with decent exploration skills some days. people who do it all the time tend to make half a billion to a billion ISK per day, the latter paying for a PLEX... with only a single day's worth of hard and dangerous work

I got 10 Biliion ISk, enough to buy 3 Astrahus citadels since theyre like only 1.5 Bil average last time I checked eve central

Well, there are 2 ways you can pay (Not including time codes, I dont know yet how those work)
Method 1: Buy a PLEX (Pilot Liscense EXtension) for about 20$ for 1 PLEX and then redeem it in the game. which will add about 30 days of game time to your account. PLEX can also be sold through trading, and nets around 1.2 Billion ISK per PLEX, so if you have some PLEX laying around, and you dont need it, you could always sell it and make a substantial amount of ISK. You can also buy PLEX off the market and redeem it, and if you can make enough to buy a plex and redeem it once a month and be able to keep doing this, then in theory its possible to play EVE for free
Method 2: Subscribe through purchasing. EVE subscriptions come in 4 "Flavors": 1 month, 3, Months, 6 Months, 12 Months. Each flavor's monthly payment is a bit lower per month than the flavor listed before. These are recurring payments though, so keep that in mind.

honestly if there are long-term players here i will probably lend my assistance as best as i can to aid creating a corp. i'm a stealth bomber pilot in training, but mainly flew as a scout in BNI's recon division. I'm skilled enough to fly mining barges so I could also help out in the industry department, but my main source of income is exploration

ya dood, you can get seriously lucky and crack open a cache of items worth 200m ISK easy. bringing a cargo scanner with you allows you to check if the cache is even worth opening or not and seriously speeds up ISK gain, and a long day's worth of lowsec exploration can net a hefty sum of ISK

never been w-space or nullsec exploring though, but i imagine that could be even more profitable. i'm kind of too much of a pusillanimous individual to do it even with my covert ops cloak...

null-sec (0.0 and below) space is a little different than w-space. for example, in wormholes there's a lot more scanning involved, but you're less likely to have a huge fleet hot-dropped on you.

some wormholes do go to different parts of known space though, so you can theoretically take a highsec wormhole to low or nullsec and vice versa. great for smuggling narcotics past gates :^)

yeah, exploration isn't just fly out and scan. you're gonna have to be good at hacking in order to explore efficiently

relic sites are the most lucrative though
