Author Topic: Ze Operator's Music Megathread  (Read 885 times)

For the past couple of months, I have been making remixes of various songs, video game or otherwise, and posting it on SoundCloud. I'll also be posting it here for...convenience, I guess? I don't know.

Constructive criticism is appreciated.

Releases (In order of initial release) ----------

Heartbeat - The first song that I finished and completed, inspired by the movie 28 Days Later.

Return to Roblox - *Sigh*, Yes, before I came to Blockland, I first went to ROBLOX. Not only this is a remix of the game's 2008 trailer music, but also summarizes what I was on ROBLOX then, and what I am now.

Megalomanics - Before you start to scream "Undertale", this is technically not a remix of one of the songs. Yes, I made it slightly inspired by two characters from the franchise, one being nonexistent, but no. The original was created by Toby Fox for a failed reboot of Earthbound, and yet, the original sounds a lot like a certain "Megalovania."

Ze Operator Engaged - A sort of 'remix remix' of the earlier remix I made, "Heartbeat" and sort of an inspiration from the movie Kick-Ass. Big Daddy's killing in the movie has never made me pop more eyes than the Joker.
This song also featured in a 'Mock trailer' I created for a recent video project, shown here, although the song is slightly different from the one player

In the Beginning - A Homestuck remix of the song of similar name. The remix in particular sounds more extravagant than the original, and mixes some orchestra while keeping a synth feel.

Disbelief - An original Undertale track that brings the concept if one were to kill Sans in a Genocide route and fight Papyrus in the end. I did my best to make this as Techno and Orchestral as possible.

Vengeful As One - Remix of one of the final tracks in the movie "The Equalizer". No vocals, but I will be creating a vocal track soon enough. This track took me 5 moths in total to complete.

Ironic Beat-Slicing 1/2Swordsman - Homestuck trash. Remix of one of the songs from the 3rd Volume of Homestuck. A Pseudo-Remix of Strider Style and Round 2, I was actually pretty happy with how this one came out.

Planned Remixes  ----------

Vengeance - From Zack Hemsey's "The Way" Album, Played as one of the final scenes in the movie "The Equalizer".

Beatdown (Strider Style) - Homestuck trash. Remix of one of the songs from the 3rd Volume of Homestuck.

E1M1 - At Doom's Gate - Remix of the original 1900's version of the first song of DOOM. I will also plan on creating a "Second Wave" version.

I know this is kind of rude to ask, but whatever happened to the music requests you were taking?

Still waiting on Masked Dedede's theme.....

No, no. It's right of you to ask.

Let's just say that I kinda had a lot going on, and at one point, I was unable to get at any of the requests at all.

I would like to get back into it though. I do like looping music. I may reopen a new thread, and make sure to get as many requests as I can. But I may divide it up between this thread and the other one.

Bump

New release.
