y'all already know that I have acne

Too bad that my face skin is more oily than usual. On and around my nose and area, there is always so much oil that comes out there that it feels like a sunburn, and flakes / peels like one too. Even though I wash and rinse that area near every day, it comes back in a few hours and it's so annoying

But just like everyone else has been saying:
coming from someone wit oily skin who has to deal with monthly period breakouts:

i alternate my shower face washes. i use a charcoal clay mask that i leave on for a few minutes for two days, then i use a charcoal exfoliating scrub (both from garnier). when my face feels really gross, i give it a good scrubbing with st ive's apricot scrub.

after your shower, put on a good facial moisturizer. i use neutrogena natural's multivitamin as my daily driver, but if you can afford it, get clinique's dramatically different lotion or gel moisturizers. stuff is amazing.

change your pillowcase at least once a week. when your face feels gross, use a light cleanser like micellar water. ALWAYS wash your face after you sweat a lot. drink a ton of water. try not to pick at your skin.

wash your face at least once a day with a cleanser made specifically for your face, use a moisturizer, change your pillowcases daily, drink more water
there's this one African Black Soap that has chunks of salt sticking out of it
for the love of god don't use anything like this, the salt will create cuts in the skin, allowing bacteria to go deeper and irritating the existing acne
and if you've tried all of these then either go to a dermatologist, or there are a few online dermatology sites that send you prescription creams for really cheap depending on the state you live in. I've been using an online derm for ~3 months and have no complaints so far.

A couple years ago I got a prescription that cures acne permanently, and although it worked, it was really rough meds to take + cost a couple thousand bucks.
Wouldn't recommend Isotretinoin to anyone, it's just not worth it.

I actually watched this before I posted this topic lol.

what i do (and it works):
get a wet bar of soap and rub it against the acne areas. you should kinda see the soap still there on your face. let it dry, and leave it there for a few hours. should help, this is what i've done and for the most part i'm acne free now

no complaints with the soap either, it may depend from person to person but considering I have some dirty ass skin this stuff actually helps for me at least.

soap is usually a skin irritant so that's weird

right now im trying using just water in the morning and at night but before that i just used a cleanser once a day (usually at night to get off all the dirt from the day off) and my skin was mostly clear
