I know an addon that isn't exactly a tool, but it does what you're looking for: Delete Mode.

You use /deletemode to toggle a special mode that makes your Light key delete the brick you're looking at.

It doesn't AFAIK, I've used it at a pretty long range with no noticeable inaccuracy. At hammer range, at least, it isn't going to be an issue.
