A subtle Renderman Mod - Removing the FNAF Element

In ChrisBot6's Renderman mod, I have seen a gamemode that does not represent the original Renderman update and phenomenon, but instead ham-fisted FNAF Elements into this once fun passtime. Rendermen were once far away characters, who would watch as we were put into an unnerving and creepy environment. But this mod, which has some how become the only remnant and for some reason what people remember of this era, is nothing more than Jump Scares and loving Irritating deaths.

Changing the famous ascii Terror Face

To the meme Grin Man Face

What i'm requesting is very simple to understand, yet it would seem I have yet to find what I'm looking for.

  • Renderman to be on their original Model, using their Original Face (Ascii Terror Face)
  • Preppers to use their original face (Ascii terror face)
  • I want a mod where there are no extra sounds, just rendermen
  • No renderman death match or anything stupid, just far away spectators, and nearby preppers
  • Maybe a little variation in the models, but no extra elements (hats, capes, etc.), and no chest decal
  • And for the love of forget, don't link me to the Chrisbot6 Mod, I've already posted it here, and that mod is NOT what I'm looking for.

yeah it sucks if we're both talking about the same one

Unfortunatly I do not have the coding ability to even modify the code to make it slightly resemble what I want, let alone create a whole new addon that does this.

your post sounds like a really formal presentation youre trying to sell to people lol

recoding this from scratch would take an excessively long time, and even working off the base of chrisbots' code it would take a considerable amount of effort. what it sounds like is you want x mod, but better, though with some more detail about your request.

you also dont really clearly state how to make this particularly better than the old one, only requesting features you want without really considering how well they'd add to the horror. removing sounds makes things feel less scary. horror is all about properly timed sounds and triggers - the old sounds may be bad and the timing may be off, but having no sounds at all is not the best solution.

this sounds pretty easy to code just make some bots spawn sometimes at spooky locations

I think renderman had the "fnaf element" before FNAF itself but correct me if I'm wrong.

Whatever changes there would be it would be great if someone remastered the Renderman mod so that he doesn't do stuff like go through walls and fix the events that change difficulty/spawn rate.

How about making it toggleable when choosing the add-ons for your server?

The FnaF element is confusing unnerving and creepy, with scary and stupid.

Jump Scares aren't really 'scary'. They're just a shock to the senses and usually result in pissing people off.

Unnerving and creepy fear gets under your skin and really tears you apart.

I'd like rendermen (the black avatar's with the asciiTerror face.) to spawn silently, far away, and dissapear about a minute after they appear, or if the player gets too close.

I'd also like preppers ( the asciiTerror face itself as a randomly spawning image in the air.) to appear more frequenlty, but only for a second, and just out of sight.

I'd also like this to be silent, no jump scare sounds, or anything stupid like that. And some RTB-Compatible controls to determine spawn-rates and what-not.

I would say it had the slender element more or less, considering the post of Chrisbot6's addon was dated around November of 2012, the slender game being around June of that year (Or I could be wrong, but I don't know of any other horror games before or at that time that had the "teleport when you aren't looking" effect aside from SCP Containment Breach)

...but yeah, I'm sick of the constant loud sounds from that addon (and generally everything about that addon), especially if you are on "nightmare" mode...

I support this idea, it sounds really good.
