Gotta love helpful people. Anyway there are 3 main programs that people generally use:

Torque Constructor
Valve Hammer
QuArk

Google one of those and it should be in the first page of results. I'd suggest Torque Constructor if you haven't done mapping before - plus it also comes with all the exporters you need and you should be able to find basic tutorials for it even on these forums.

Ephi, you forgot about terrain.

If you go to blockland.us and look for the mission editor you can use that (ingame) to fiddle around with terrains.
