Author Topic: How do I inject a .dll into blockland (MAC USER)  (Read 4142 times)

(would highly recommend asking your dad first if it's his computer and he uses it)
It's his and he uses it, I know it.

I dont think .dlls will work on others platforms since they're Microsoft's exclusivity.

Try getting the windows version and running it under a windows platform emulator such as Wine.

You're not helping.
have you even asked your dad?
you're not helping yourself.

also reading enviormental zones addon page i don't think you inject them. i'm pretty sure you're supposed to put them in a folder
yes, it automatically loads the .DLL files. They're dynamic load libraries, they're meant to be loaded but if a program doesn't load them you can force it to by injecting them
at least that's how I think it works?
anyways no, don't use a tool, just put 'em in a folder, there's a modified blockland.exe that loads them
but Mac doesn't use .EXE files so you're out of luck unless you do dual boot or run a VM. I think WINE has to specifically have stuff done to the EXE or whatever that you probably can't do with the modified one? Not sure how that works.

I don't recommend virtual machines unless it's your only option.
Is wine for Mac too? When i used wine on Linux for blockland, blockland ran fine.

did you turn your computer off and turn it back on again?

did you turn your computer off and turn it back on again?
That won't fix it unless it magically boots Windows when it starts up again.
