i bought it on steam and only there
but i figured out that lowering the resolution actually made it not crash, so maybe my res was too high?
still really annoying playing below 1000 x 1000 px

Has it worked in the past?

Do you know what changed since then?

What happens if you use steam to verify the BL files?
i don't know what you mean
With steam there's an option to verify game integrity
Pretty sure you can do it from your steam library, right click the game (blockland), and verify game integrity/cache (not at computer right now)

That's a bit strange, if the resolution was higher I would just expect it to have a longer load time and freeze for a bit, not just close

Explain the crash.

Is it...:
1) Spontaneously closing on it's own.
2) Giving the "Blockland is not responding" popup.
3) Giving some other error.

Because if it's 2, it's not actually crashing. You just need to wait a moment.

I think it's #1, which is a bit more unusual

it just shuts off abruptly, no notifications or anything.

Oh that happens when it starts to unrespond and then you press a few keys which force closes the game

Try to avoid pressing any keys when it doesnt respond

Also, I haven't been pressing ANY keys when it starts joining.

What did you do to solve it?

I think deleting cache.db and lowering resolution helped, but I now notice that it still crashes when I try to host.

Oh yeah, it was 1.
