Author Topic: OMG HEATHER WICK IS A tribal!  (Read 1198 times)

So a liberal  bernie/hillary supporter made a satirical joke about how Annoying Orange is going to bring back slavery and that she wants a maid.

She was 100% joking, it was a satirical post.

So now her own kind other liberals are going around and branding her as a tribal.

This stuff is crazy

Yeah this is a year old but this story is forgeted up.

I don't like the idea of the internet collectively pouncing on random, non-public figures for these kinds of offenses. It's 100% a non-constructive discourse. If this person was the head of an important organization like a hospital or a non-profit, sure, talk to her employers about it. But dog-piling thousands of people's worth of hate on one random person's head will do nothing to change anything, unless the person actually kills themselves, but even then, that's not a preferable outcome.

Welcome to the new moral panic

modern social justice is cancer

She was a liberal democrat that supported bernie.

She was making fun of Annoying Orange. She was making a joke about how Annoying Orange is so tribal he'd probably bring back slavery.

100,000+ people obviously misread her satirical, sarcastic post and have collectively ruined her life and called her a tribal.

This is beyond crazy and I've been reading the hate comments about her, they're more tribal than what she said. But of course you can't be tribal towards white people.

Of course facebook does nothing about it.

It's against facebook's policy to harass someone like this yet they take no steps to remove any of the heather wick posts.

But if someone says something bad/truthful about Trayvon Martin facebook is ready to take it down within seconds.

gets me crazy when people behave like white people don't count as people.

Either all of it's okay or none of it's okay.
