ill be the fifth person to mention it and say the oneplus 5t

unfortunately i'm not super versed on smartphones but i knew what i wanted in a phone, switched from a terrible old samsung phone to the 5t, so far it's been excellent. it is a pretty big phone, though

Yeah, OnePlus 5t is an amazing phone

If you want a budget phone with a 5000mAh battery, the Moto E4 Plus is a great option. It's 179.99 but regularly goes on sale for much less, has a 5.5" 720p IPS screen, uses Gorilla Glass 3 with an oleophobic coating, front mounted fingerprint sensor with support for gestures n stuff, pretty great quality 13mp rear camera and 5mp front one with flash on both sides, Snapdragon 427, 2gb ram 16/32gb of storage with expandability, headphone jack, supports every GSM / CDMA / HSPA / LTE band so you can use legit any carrier from any country pretty much, and slight water resistance (aka a drop in the toilet or dipping it into water for like 10 seconds won't damage the phone at all)

If you want some top-end quality stuff tho for a good price, the OnePlus 5t is definitely the better option. The E4 Plus is a great low-budget option too

s8 but get the flip case that samsung makes

j3 luna pro, its 80 dollars and it works really well

Also on your next phone I highly recommend a rhino shield screen protector. This stuff it legit I have dropped my phone face down on to gravel and all the stupid stuff I've done I have yet to ever crack any of my screens with it.

for me i've never liked screen protectors unless it's a wearable (i wear a smartwatch). i've always looked for a case that has a little bit of a lip so if my phone does go down on pavement it won't get scratched by it. legit i've had my phone tumble 5 times while getting carts at my job and not a deep scratch at all, just those little wear and tear ones after almost a year of usage.

I ended up going with the Galaxy s8. Thank you everyone for the suggestions
