i want ammo for weapons that do not have built in ammo support.

ask nicely and dont argue. rotondos system worked cause it only works for simple weapons, but even those required modders to fuss about with their item states. also it didnt have ammo types, only an ammo box you could refill at.

Well I wanted ammo support for your dueling  weapons but other weapons as well.

I thought a universal ammo support system would be easier instead.

It's okay. Someone CAN make it, but its a really complex operation. If you're just doing a one-shot ammo system for a predetermined set of weapons you should just tell them what items to add ammo to and that'll be done. But you can't propose something so broad as 'make a universal ammo system' because its pretty hard and unsustainable and violates every encapsulation practice
