TGE sucks?

After a couple of times experiencing this, i decided to ask.

Why dose TGE suck? Everytime I press "start server" it lags for about 3 mins. after it loads the datablocks, it lags for 5 mins and its done. Sometimes it crashes too.

use less add ons.
lower graphic quality.

its not TGE's falt. Its yours.

Count your datablocks and remember that TGE runs in a single thread.

Im running a windows Vista with 767 RAM and ADM Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor. And i think its more than qualified. Also it can play Flight Simulator X at normal graphics

I removed 10 out of the total of 30 addons. Still fails.

Well, it takes less than 30 seconds for me from the time I click to start the server for me to be spawned.  Obviously you're doing something wrong.  Try starting with zero non-default Add-Ons and working your way up.

Bam, problem solved. Blockland (and garrys mod) both mess up on my vista computer sometimes.

Try er.. Uh...

A reinstall? And then try hand installing all the addons you want, my blockland runs really fast now becuase i:
1. don't have any weapon addons
2. only chose the good vehicles i use
3. dont have bunch of random GUI's etc

The minimum ram requirement for most versions of vista is 1GB.  Buy more ram or reformat and install Win2k.
