Blockland problem with Leopard

A while back I made a topic to ask if blockland wouldn't have any lagging problems with Leopard, every one said that there were no troubles with blockland but, there is CONSTANT lag on internet servers (or single/LAN servers) when there is a high amount of bricks (and this didn't happen with 10.4, Tiger,)

anyway, what is the solution for this ''LAG''?

Apple would've tested Leopard for any problems before releasing it. Someone had this problem a log time ago nut I cant remember the solution. Its not Leopard thats having a problem, its BLOCKLAND.

Sorry for the bump, the edit button is missing. Would reinstalling Blockland work? Because if it will fix the not stop ''LAG'' then ill reinstall Blockland

I have Leopard and Blockland runs seamlessly and I don't get lag when everyone around me in the server does! The only problem that belittles the mac version is that an assortment of great add-ons are not compatible with it, and there are some crappy bugs in it to.

Also, the large amount of lag when there are lots of bricks could be caused by the low power graphics cards that apple puts in their iMacs.

Honestly, I have no experience with Blockland and Macintosh...But from the looks of it, it seems either what Starcraftman said, your graphics card is underpowered or it's just your Leopard.

Mainly what Im asking is will reinstalling Blockland work? Anyways, I use an G5 IMAC WITH A 1.6 ghtz (in mac terms) prosesor and 1 gig ram with a 250 gig hard drive. My imac was one of the first g5 models not the ones with the built in camera or the grey ones.

P.S. when I said (in mac terms) I meant that pc and mac use different codes for the proseser

Perhaps I missed something, but what is your GFX card? Is it intergrated?

Make sure your graphics card, whatever it is, has 32 MB and is openGL compatible. Also, try updating your graphics drivers.

I reinstalled Blockland, and it seems to fix the lag. The lagging with my house is mainly the emitters which i found out

wow? did everyone forget that if your computer craps, you will have a crap amount of effects before lag?
