Author Topic: Missing faces  (Read 799 times)

I got a new PC a while back (intel duo 3.0GHz), but it came with an ATI card which I have not had the means to replace yet. Since getting this PC, the models in blockland (and other games) have had missing faces as seen in this picture:

I know this question is related to more than just Blockland, but if anyone has any ideas or things I can try, I'de really appreciate it!

This doesn't look like stretched polygons, so the stickied thread won't do any good.

I suggest downloading a free driver cleaner, removing your current driver and installing the latest driver from ATI. If that doesn't work, you may have to go Tech Support with them (Which is hell, just to let you know.).

If all else fails, buy a Geforce 8800GT.

I plan on buying one soon, but at the moment, I have other things that need buying.

You should still try removing your driver completely with a driver cleaner and installing the latest drivers.

The only thing i can think of is reinstall Blockland.

Okay, this is strange. This problem has persisted for about 9 months (since I bought this computer), and today I loaded up the game as usual. I started to add to my ship and noticed the doors looked normal. The problem is completely gone. I'm not sure how or why, but it's gone. Locking thread.
