I got Steam and my own name, but i can't download it cause when i hit Purchase on Gmod + CS:S, i hit "Yes i have steam installed" but it said "Firefox doesn't know how to open this address, because the protocol (steam) isn't associated with any program."

Wai dis hapen 2 meh? D:

Tried it before, but it didn't work, then again, it was in the 1st apartment at the time, so it may not have been hooked up right or something

There should be a window that pops up. Maybe your Steam has gone crazy. Try reinstalling Steam, or restarting your computer.

Lets see

1. I'm trying to buy the Garry's Mod + Counter Strike package
2. I'm using Steam
3. I've reinstalled Steam, restarting PC doesn't help
4. Do i need to put in credit card info?
5. The "Yes i have steam" thing only shows up in Firefox, not Steam, so when i click Purchase, nothing pops up

Anything wrong? Oh, Steam support doesn't help

Didn't work, and i set Firefox to the default program for all filetypes and protocols in Vista's settings :(

You don't have to download it on your other PC, simply buy it so that is shows up in your games list and then log onto your Steam from your Vista PC and the game should show up.
