Another option appears when changing your avatar, that is an overlay. You can choose out of things like dirt, blood, scars, beards and other hair, and then it puts the image over the face of your avatar. So its two images combinde. That way, when doing RP or in a minigame if you dig, you could change the overlay to mud, then if you shower you could take it off. Or you could add different facial hair to simulate that your growing older.
