Why does everyone assume that as soon as V9 comes out there will be an "explosion" of new players?

I mean, the people that are even aware of V9 already have the game, and with the exception of a select few, I hardly doubt V9 will usher in a new wave of players.

What really brings in new players is proper advertising and word of mouth.
