Win 98?

Is it possible to play age of time on windows 98?

if so how do I?

I dont know if it will or not.  Make sure you've run windows update and have the latest video and sound drivers installed, then download and install like normal.  If it doesn't work, then it doesn't work.  It's 2006, so I'm not to concerned about win98 support.

It will work on win 98

I've determined that slower processors can't place all of the grass before their connection to the server times out.

To get around this problem:
-Start AoT
-Press ~ (near the 1 key) to open the console
-Type $pref::Grass::replicationRatio = 0;
-Press enter
-Press ~ again to close the console
-Click Connect

Hmm, I think that will work on linux too. I had the same problem.

the game opens but it won't show the main page!
after showing the stuff in that box it stops and says it made an illegal error.
The computers at our library are win98 and they can't afford to update them. or so they say...
